serbian cinema is sometimes mega dark and horrible, but overall i know a couple good flicks if you want a reccomendation

human centipede is softcore, there is praticly no gore involved just a guy attached to two girls one of the shittest movies ive seen, serbian film is pretty good but not as bad as everyone makes out maybe im just immune to this sort of thing from all the real shit ive seen on the internet, watched it with my 18 yo girlfriend it's more of a hardcore porno than a horror movie quite artistic though I enjoyed it

yea I haven't seen centipede but came across A Serbian Film, during a discussion on centipede and someone saying how it doesn't have shit on A Serbian Film.

I think Pink Flamingos, Salo, and Cannibal Holocaust may be ur your alley Clive. I haven't seen them, but saw them mentioned as recommendations.

u gotta remember holocaust came out in the 70s....they had to go on trial to prove they dint kill anybody in Italy. Once they brought in the actress who was impaled on the pole....the case was over heh.

great film in my opinion. If u just want strait up wtf check out the movie "rubbers lover" its a strange one to say the least.

on a different note entirely, watch the documentary series 'The Death Of Yugoslavia'. made me think of kustricas films a lot, and shone a lot of light on a conflict i knew nothing about.

twas good stuff!

i know a thing or two about what went down. lots of displaced people from those wars ended up in canada. also i have lived in serbia for about 6 months total and my girlfriend is from belgrade.

some pretty crazy shit to happen in continental europe. crazy shit to happen anywhere actually.

Didn't like any of those because they're all after-war movies and way to biased IMO, he might be a good director and very intelligent but he's a traitor and an extremists supporter.

i'd love to see a movie about war which has no bias. i have seen some pretty insanely biased ones though. i will check those out
