some asshole broke into my new home

some days ago my wife and I came home to find our laptops, a camera and SCUBA gear had been stolen from ou new home.

no extra damage was done, but let me tell you that it really fooking sucks, on top of that, we are VERY suspcious of the son of a friend.

we live in a pretty safe place, and given that no damage was done to our property, we suspect of this guy, who had been in the house days before, he saw where the stuff was, he (luckily) didnt check the closet, where I had about 1000$ in cash, and two guns: a colt defender and a glock (with locks on the triggers)

the irony of it all is that my security system was to be installed the next day!!

some ppl say it was just material stuff, but the comps had pictures that will be lost forever, including the topless picture of a former female poster, who´s name was.... well I better keep that one to myself

come on if you're smart about this you can easily find the person who did it. specially if you think you know who it was. just don't come out and accuse them cause that's not nice if they didn't do it. but other than that...

shouldn't scuba gear be really easy to track down assuming they try to sell it? watch craigslist to look for your stuff, computers, scuba gear, etc.

i suggest investing in an external hd.

When you find out it was indeed the son of your buddy, knock the shit out of him.

Normally I abhor violence but spending a couple of nights in jail isn't going to get your shit back, not saying that kicking the fuck out of him will solve much but he might man up and you may get some of your shit to 'turn up'. Either way there is no point in furthering a criminal education by locking the little cocksucker up so you may as well get some frustration out on the boy.

I know if one of my boys got caught ripping off a friend of mine and got the shit knocked out of him for doing it, I'd tell him I hope he learned a valuable lesson from it.

And if he didn't, I'd take a swing or two myself, see if we can awaken his inner common sense.

for accessing any accounts you had on them.

probably a registered operating system too. (again with the unique-ness)

sent a couple of state investigators to my house to talk to me, but I was on night shift, my grandma talked to them (she lived across the street).

Notify all the pawn shops in your area, we had one call us and say a guy come in there trying to sell my electric guitar(Luckily it was just an old beginner I had). The owner asked him to play something, when he couldn't he refused to buy the guitar
