I agree, and love people who blame our president when this was perpetuated under bush as an excuse to "control people". Now if Obama or any Dem does not follow through with this Rep agenda of controlling people then they are called out to be "weak" and all too many weak minded people vote them out. There are way too many stupid people in this country.

It started with Reagan and the cold war. Reagan used fear tactics to sink huge amounts into our military which made him and his Rep buddies tons of $$$ (look where Cheney was in power under Reagan then and how much stock afterword he had in Haliburton - coincidence?) The republicans have used fear tactics to manipulate the stupid ever since against themselves and our nations best interests, that being REAL freedom. That's why I like the concept of NH's "Live Free of Die" slogan, although all that means is don't take the wealthy people's money.
