yes for anybody with a good memory i did make a thread about this before, but that was when it was at 8 a share.

now just lets say that u purchased ford stock in october 2008 when it was at a low of around 2.00 a share...

today with a price of 14.60 and climbing, your investment would have been returned quite handsomely.

lets say you invested 10k

or as the one thread asked, lets say you had 80k to invest, - (100k for ease of math)

your 100k would now be worth 730,000 dollars roughly.

DAYYYYMMM...

proof the american dream is still alive in our times?

Thousands of people losing their jobs so the rich can get richer? Yeah, that is the American dream.... Don't forgot why the stocks dropped so low.

I don't think that it does anything to support the dream being alive.

The guy or guys that went naked on 2010 calls with a strike of 5.50 back in 09 when it dropped to 2 lost their shorts, the house, and the dog probably ran away too, when F kicked through later in the summer.

You gotta have money to invest money.
