Dude! Is there any other proof that you need? Of course solving the rubix cube is key to the understanding of everything. Philosophy, Religion, Science... They're all explained in the cube, mofo!!

(Don't even ask me about Rubik's Revenge (the cube with four rows/columns/layers). It's beyond pale human understanding.)

I just thought it was incredible awesome (and dorky) to discover 20 is all you need to solve a rubix cube.

I remember in the 80's they had a little book you could buy on how to solve the cube. Kids at my HS would read it, then once they got good at solving it fast, would start coming up with ways to speed up the process. One guy actually broke his cube up, then filled it with vaseline so it would turn faster. He called it his "speed cube".

This is how rediculous the 80's were.
