Archaeology

I have to do a project for my archaeology class and its supposed to be based on archaeological data set from a site we are interested in. But other than Stonehenge and like obvious other sites I don’t really know what to do the project on and I don’t want it to be something “typical” and boring. Anyways with all the different kind of folks on Yahooka... I figured maybe someone here knows of a cool archaeological excavation perhaps from personal travel or interest. Otherwise I’m going to have to write it on Chechen Itza. Also part of the project is to use the data to interpret and reconstruct life at the site...basically make believe what life would have been like based on the data and artifacts involved.

Thanks for your help and sarcastic comments <3

thats a pretty neat place captain.

another place i was reading about today , i dont know much about it but it struck my fancy.

was the viking settlement on the northern tip of newfoundland from 1000 ad.

supposedly they came over and island hopped from the azores to iceland to greenland and eventually started a colony on newfoundland in like the year 1000 - supposedly it didnt survive but in 2005 some expedition found the archaological site where they think they had their settlement
.
not much info i know . lol . let me see if i can find anything about it
