these riots are such bullshit. why the hell are the students/youth protesting the reforms when they are clearly beneficial to them? it makes no sense. if the government doesn't fix the pension problem, the money is going to have to come out of the next generation's pockets. i don't buy it that they are concerned they'll have to retire at 65... what 20-something student is thinking that seriously about retirement 40 years down the road?

not saying i blame them (burning cars looks fun!), but they clearly just want to break stuff and in the process wasting even more money that they don't have.

When was the last time any riot actually had a valid point to it?

People are pretty much always on the edge of snapping, then something happens and people lose it. All they need is a catalyst.
Whether its your sports team winning or a retirement bill lol.

riots are fucking stupid and involve stupid ignorant people 90% of the time.

like i remember seeing vids of the LA riots, that was supposedly all about police corruption and shit.... yet innocents were getting ripped out of their cars and stomped. Like wtf.

id love to get some free shit though...

ah, so all this rioting is over pension reform? so they want all these socialist policies but then get pissed off when they realize that they need to push back the age for retirement. fucking frenchies need to get it together
