The illegal drug trade brings out some of the shdiest most unmoral people into the mix of it. The illegallity of all these drugs gives cartels and gangs a way to make good money illegally. And they create the hype and control the flow creating a fake market that they created. This brings them literaly billi'Legali'Lons in dollars to the drug lords and stuff. Legalizing all drugs would cut the money train they had flowing to them and kill off the real bad guys in the drug areas. It's the dealers and cartels doing violence with weed, not the end users.
