Starbucks is working on a flavoured edible cup to reduce waste.

Fuck that. It should break down so it can be flushed down the toilet, or into a garbage disposal. At least then it gets it back into the cycle.

To Go boxes should be reusable to the consumer like Glad containers or also break down the same way as the travel cup.

well biodegradable plastics made from plants does exist already. a festival i work at uses only biodegradable beer cups, and utensils.

ive had some pipe dreams about roaming the land in this giant truck setup with living quarters like an rv, that harvests plants and turns them into fuel inside a mini-refinery inside the truck, which is used to fuel the truck and propel it further to new pastures. it is also equipped with armor and cannons to defend myself against angry farmers and bandits.
