i do everything better when im on my own.

recently with my group ive had to go to various universities to interview professors and stuff for a documentary were doing. on all the shoots ive fucked something up coz people have been pressuring me, to get stuff looking immaculate quickly.

then for the past 2 days i go out on my own and shoot some material for inserts, and im pretty damn happy with it. Because it was just me and a camera i was able to clear my head completely, go into my own little world it worked! plus while i was on the roof filming these time lapses i was able to focus clearly on the net shot id do, and the shot after that, etc.

Actually i spend a lot of time on my own. i dont think its bad at all, but i dont think about cough syrup. in short i think its generally a good thing so long as youre not in total isolation.
