Walmart... a great high?

There was a time not long ago when I truely believed that Walmart was the no good spawn of Satan and everyone who shopped there was an absent minded sheep.

But lately Walmart has become quite an opiate for me. $20 at Walmart will get you pretty much everything you need to be happy for a short while, will it not?

The thing is shopping is a verified addiction and Walmart is like the best bang for the buck shopping addiction. Where else can you get a six pack, a candle and a CD for $13? And what else do you need for the rest of the work week?

Walmart ftw.

i was in town yesterday and went into walmart cause i needed new work boots and a belt

and fuck
every single aisle i went in it was like can we have a sales associate in so and so and so and so

and this dude in a tshirt (mind u its freeezing outside) and no shopping basket is just following me around
from the boot section
to the belt section
then i just wanted to see if i was crazy so i went to the fishing section and yep he was still there following me with no basket or anything

so i was like wtf why are u following me i have money i will pay for my shit stop being prejudice against people with fucking long dreadlocks

then he told me i have to leave the store
and i was like wtf????
i said sure
i will

after im done shopping

then i paid for my shit
then went back and returned my boots for better ones

funny this thread came up cause walmart just bought the grocery store my brother works in the other day. everybody gets fired....but....u can reapply....no pay raises carry over, no days off carry over....blah blah.....not a big fan of walmart right now.

however....if u dont feel like driving to more than one store and dont care much for quality of items purchased....i can see how it would be nice to have.

well come on now. nobody is going to walmart to buy a grand piano. the products they DO sell are great value over quality. best price on toilet paper and ice cream in town!!

I have been followed by store security on occasion, they are quite easy to spot when you used to be one of them, if I'm tired of it I will announce quite loudly and directly to loss prevention that while they are watching me there is a real thief ripping shit off and they should go find them.

You think you don't like getting caught ripping shit off, they hate being pulled out of a crowd more.

but seriously and as a matter of fact... ~1~ is a 35 some, clean cut, working man. And I myself have been singled out there, back when I went there in 00-02 and had a shaved hair cut and usually was shopping in my work clothes which at the time was kakais and a polo shirt.

They pay their employees shit, so inturn the only place they can shop is Walmart. I dont not make alot of money up I refuse to shop at Walmart, I will pay 25% more at a mom and pop shop, because I want to support my local economy.
