More than once I've seen scolded in public by the self-rightious. Yet I would wager that these same parents provide their children with Coke-a-Cola (which has 34 grams of sugar and a pH 3.4! -- acidity strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones!).

Christ, at least coffee has milk.
Both seem nearly equally stupid and unnecessary.

Also even the thought of drinking 2 2 liters of Mt Dew a day makes me kinda queasy. I used to drink it sporadically when I was younger but I can't even drink a whole can anymore.

On a related note I do need to buy more coffee, I'm completely out.

My son has been sipping my coffee since he was about 2, I guess he likes the sweetness (I like my coffee on the sweet side)..I've never given him a whole cup for himself, but I don't see anything wrong with it once in awhile. I think people give it a stigma because it's supposedly an "adult" drink. I'd love to see someone try and publicly scold me for giving my kid coffee, they'd quickly learn to keep their mouth shut when it comes to other peoples' kids.

my boss uses a wooden hand grinder to grind the beans fresh and then puts them in a french press and then adds hot water. imho thats the best way. i love coffee but im very sensitive to stimulants (fast metabolism) and when i drink coffee i have to piss/shit like the dickens.

I also love coffee..
I need to have my caffeine dose everyday.
Usually, I drink 4 to 5 cups of coffee everyday.
Without coffee, I can not concentrate or seem to relax.
