COFFEEEEEEEEEEEEE... ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COFFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

I love coffee and it's having too much is why I'm starting this thread for sure!!!!!

I have 2-3, 8 ounce cups a day, not like a binge... but I do get on a bender once in a while

So post what you like about it... the buzz... the taste... the place where you enjoy it!!!

...... or are you the person who love it when they get the shakes and heart palpitations?

I like it dark.... I love getting out the Turkish grinder as well.

Most morning I sit here and enjoy it with you, lately on the weekends we take a thermos down to the Lake a block down the street and sip it down.

Cheers to legal stimulants!!!

Have a good one YaHooka!
Double Espressage, brewed long !!!!!

Turkish Coffee isn't exactly this simple, but it's not much more difficult. Sugar is optional for sure.... and the boiling is a little more technical than he lays out in my understanding.

It's clear that its never to be a rolling boil and when it just starts to boil, take it off, stir and bring back to a point when it just starts to foam doing this perhaps once more to make it 3 times to a barely boiling point.

Captain Cannabis makes it a lot as well and am sure he has some good technique advice...

It's the only way I could get coffee when I was in eastern Europe and it was
really hard to go back to full cups of coffee pot coffee.

SageTree

PS, don't swallow that last sip of Turkish style... it'll kill ya'!

Very ritualistic for me. I grind beans every morning. I like sugar free vanilla cream with my coffee, ususally breakfast blend of some sort.

I also have an espresso machine which I am quite adept at using for Capps, Latte's and such.

At night, I will occasionally have decaf.

If you know there is an alternative to drinking 40 oz you haven't lost your mind to the coffee gods yet!

the Equal Exchange columbian is my favorite.

I'm fairly confident that if some one cut off my coffee and cig supply I'd be arrested for murder by the end of the day.

ah yes!

"cigs: the other legal stimulant"

Used to work with a guy who despised coffee...
told us all "we'd get hooked on that shit"....
which he usually told us between puffs of his smoke and slips of the 2-2L of Mountain Dew he drank.....
a day....

totally missed the bonding moment of a drug experience

seriously.... dude was like 5'5 ,130 of a shaking quaking mess.

I don't know how he kept it together enough to be in management.

From what I understood he used to do a lot of coke... so guess that is how he got his fix on, so to speak.

If I could have a coffee I.V., I would totally get one. I'm pretty plain with my coffee, just cream and sugar (or the extra large double double from Timmies). I always drink coffee when I'm surfing yahooka. I probably drink about 12 cups a day, thanks to my oversized golf mug. Coffee is gooood.

I've been real bad at some jobs, esp if I have unlimited access to a lavazza espresso machine...

As a toddler I was given coffee (milk-coffee) in a sippy cup. As a parent I've done the same for my children, with no apparent harm.

When we lived in Seattle this was the norm. It's not unusual at all to see small children enjoying a cup of coffee with their parents in a cafe, but here in LA it's seen by some as bordering on child abuse.

More than once I've seen scolded in public by the self-rightious. Yet I would wager that these same parents provide their children with Coke-a-Cola (which has 34 grams of sugar and a pH 3.4! -- acidity strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones!).

Christ, at least coffee has milk.
