Life goes insanely fast...?

I've always thought it's crazy how fast high school went, but now I'm about to move out of my parents house. Shits crazy how fast life seems to vanish.

I've found that since I started smoking weed (grade 11, age 16, 4 years ago), life has gone by insanely fast. I think its the fact that we do the same thing everyday. Living on your own is sick man, walking home sitting on your couch and ripping a bowl is the greatest feeling.

the only constant is change-death-and rebirth

both in this life and otherwise.

As you get older, you do more and more by habit, including experiencing the world. You are, in effect, less and less conscious, and this accounts for the sense that life just whizzes by. If you think HS went fast, you're going to be blown away at how fast the first 20 years AFTER go by.

I'm not sure what you mean? Are you saying you believe in re-incarnation? If I knew re-incarnation was a reality that would make me feel 100% more comfortable about wasting the first 19 years of my life.

life flows.

sometimes swiftly blowing past you, as you are caught up in the whirlwind of living "in the moment" when you sense all of reality in one instant.

sometimes a trickle as you step away; into the pensive retrospect of the past, the awestruck "deer in the headlights" of the present, or the fantasy trance of a pipe dream future.

at times fragile...the singularity, the oneness.

at times the ideal samaratin with a red cape and super hero powers.

still always trying to maintain self truth, without self destruction.

life is about learning/growing as much as you can as easilly/fast as you can.

^ this is the only constant other than death and taxes that I'm aware of.

I don't include change, because even tho the cosmos is evolving every nano second, some humans just arent. And that hinders the whole anchelada.

Something like reincarnation. And 19 years is nothing in the grand scheme of life---I didn't get my head together until 26!

I have hemorrhoids that are older than the people that are bemoaning how fast life is whizzing by. Just kidding, I had them taken out in '03 when those same people were in middle school bemoaning their first zit.

Hell yeah life goes by fast. The year barely started and all of a sudden its coming up on finals time again and the new year is just around the corner. I remember in middle school though (worst years of my life) where every day was an eternity, and I find I prefer it the way it is. The slow days are some of my favorites now, where I have time to just sit back, enjoy a cold drink and a book, and not have to stress about running around getting shit done.
