U kno ur country plays too much Starcraft when....
Korean Crisis "Is Not Starcraft"
Last week, North Korea shelled a South Korean island, sending the peninsula in to "crisis status." The South fired several test shots in response but, according to the New York Times, the country denied that any hit the North. South Korean defense minister Kim Tae-young was questioned by one politician why the South's retaliation was delayed 13 minutes and not forceful enough, to which Kim replied, "This isn't StarCraft." Kim certainly wasn't making light of the situation. If anything, he was using StarCraft, a national obsession in South Korea, to illustrate a point: the confrontation with the North is very serious and cannot be taken lightly. In the wake of the shelling, which left two South Korean civilians and two marines dead, the BBC reports that Kim was urged to step down due to his handling of the situation. Ultimately, Kim resigned, and in his letter of resignation, he took full responsibility for how the events played out. In South Korea, StarCraft games appear on television and even as a metaphor in at least one soap opera.

to be honest i never play online, i like to replay the terran storyline missions once in a while, and setting huge battles with map/editor with me as terran vs a bunch of zerg with elaborate drops and coordinated attacks and shit like that, and pretending they're all xenomorphs from the alien series. im not into the whole memorizing builds and apm, i like to roleplay.

i like to use carriers. they get crazy good when you upgrade air attacks
+1 to air attack increases overall damage from a carrier by 16 damage since they have 8 fighters and each fighter has two attacks (8x2 = 1) plus it lets you get a motheeeeeership |

i dunno man, i read about pro starcraft players in korea, they do hardcore training, their coaches beat them and shit. and you need to be able to do like 300 apm and more to compete, probably get carpal tunnel from trying that.

they're asians dude, what do you expect, they take pride in that. if you fail at anything you bring shame to your family. ive watched a few pro matches on youtube, the guy that loses the match always goes fucking apeshit, ripping hair out and crying, i feel so bad for them, its just a game.
