Do you receive human or automated debt collection calls ?

I don't, and am fortunate to have parents to pay for my education and what not. But damn, after working in student loans collections and quitting, I realize why people get pissed off?

People will call from another phone, like a neighbor or friends house so the skip tracing tracker down of debtor people think that that person lives there. It's still such a shady business practice, even if the agency (like the one I worked for, break policies everyday).

Now I'm fighting to get unemployment. On they other hand, I might deliver 'za's

private poll of course, we keep it sacred up in hur

No debts, no worries! Woot woot!

But yeah my dad works for the largest debt collector in the area and he's always coming home talking about Skip tracing this person's neighbors or relatives. Huge grin on his face. He doesn't realize or care how utterly assholeish the whole profession is.
Yeah, I understand these people used the money and now the time has come to pay it back, but if they don't it's not right to track down and harass other people.
If they won't pay it back the only other option should be taking it back Otto Maddox style.

Seriously, if I wanted to I could just throw the next gay guy I come across right up against a wall and give him an anal assault and he wouldn't complain one bit.

yea, its outrageous how people will deny they can pay tho. like my supe (as much of a blunt fucker he was), said, if the borrrower will stay on the line, 9/10 (if you're a good collector), you'll get them to pay with some type of plan, whether it a rehab or consolidation. Like, if you verify their social, they feel bad knowing they're getting something free and haven't paid for and want to pay somehow actually. It's weird, gotta use so much guilt tripping action too. Like, "O, so you plan on your kids goin to college and gettin loans?" yea...y "Well, Mr Sorantez, you don't want to see the look on your daughter's face when she says she can't get federal aid cuz daddy didn't pay this bill..." The fuckin quota bs and sittin all day at a terminal with shitty Indian IT support didn't help either.

Q: What is the proper weight for a collector?

A: About seven pounds, including the urn.

As a former repossessor, let me be the first to say collectors are fucking pussies and assholes with no balls and less scruples.

You want to get something back from someone who owes you, man up and look them in the eye, hiding behind the phone is a faggots way.

I get them, but they're for someone who had my phone number before me. The worst part is when I tell one company that she no longer owns the number and they just send it along to another collection agency, who I then inform of the situation and the cycle perpetuates.

I've also had the number for almost 4 years.

there was one time i revealed the identity of a person and it wasn't her, cuz it was a call in and I thought someone was calling in to pay and i didn't verify social. nothin happened tho. A debt collector can get up to a 2 thousand dollar fine for breaking the ethics code if you will. lol
