For each of the genotypes below, determine the phenotype:

Purple flowers (P) are dominant to white flowers (p)

For each phenotype, list the genotypes.

Straight hair is dominant to curly hair

yeah, I obviously wasn't paying attention in class.

^ that would be 50% chance of offspring being round, correct?

If a TT (tall) plant is crossed with a tt (small) plant, what percentage of the offspring will be tall?
in a punnet square they will all be Tt, so 100%??

Yep, they're all Tt and because T is dominant they're all tall.

that's kinda confusing though, cause if a punnet square has a cross of 2 Tt's, it'll be TT, Tt, Tt, and tt with 75% chance of being tall, yet a TT and tt cross would be 100% chance of being tall

In pea plants purple flowers are dominnant to white flowers. If two white flowered plants are crossed, what percentage of their offspring will have white flowers?

So if P is dominant, even the white flowered will be heterozygous with Rr genotype?
So the percentage of offspring being white (of two white flowered plants) would be 25% according to a punnet square, right?

or would their genotype be rr since they're both white flowered?

If they had any purple genes (because purple is dominant) it would show. Because they are white we know they only have honkey genetics.
