I can't watch anti-drug shit when I'm high. I tried to watch "Cartoon Allstars to the Rescue" once (it was an HW Bush Administration cartoon where all the drug cliches were played out, and Winnie the Pooh, Bugs Bunny, ALF, and a few others all team up to save the poor kid enslaved by drugs), but it just depressed me.

One of the strengths of marijuana, for me, is that it makes it possible for me to see things from all kinds of points of view much better than I can when not high. This includes points of view that I totally disagree with, so it takes a bit of discipline not to slip into my parents POV, for example, and start to feel shitty about myself for being a "druggie". Well, that show just activated the "drugs are bad, m'kay?" POV, and totally ruined what should have been a perfect bit of hilarious absurdity.

Sad, but true.

I think I made a post about this years ago, this is the eternal inner struggle we (as pot smokers) have to deal with, reconciling our actions with the way we were raised.(which, in most cases, was bombarded by anti drug messages)

Yeah, it can be quite the buzzkill.
