ok im gonna do a terrible job at explaining it but here goes

theres a second part to the internet, a lot of which you can't normally access, or a part that normal serach engines wont find. this doesn't mean its all just crazy child porn pedo fanatics, theres a lot of shit like internet caches and just mumbo jumbo computer shit there to.

however there is a part to it that people have taken advantage of and use a program called Tor, which helps keep you anonymous (not fully in the least) and helps you access these parts of the net. I myself do not care to venture into these parts as I saw printscreens of a lot of the links and what you can get into, and its not pretty.

It was everything from extreme pedo chit, instructions on luring kids and what not.. to illegal trade of various items, to random anarchist shit.

IDK much about it but I think a non standard format IP is used so the content is not accessible to google and other normal searching.. It is easy to access if you have the ip address of what you are looking for.

Some of it may be shady but I think most of it is pretty boring, irrelevant and unintelligible.

Edit- another instance- private sites. So FFA and OH's are part of the deeper web.

yeah I was going to mention that earlier. there's nothing that can't stop anyone from having private networks. the internet works because everyones computer is hooked up to a network of servers. when you look at anything on the internet, your connection goes through multiple loops to get there. so this is just avoiding that and going straight to a private server, right?

as for using "multiple" proxies, I can't imagine how that would help. I know next to nothing about networking, but it doesn't seem like Tor or Peer Guardian would do anything different than one proxy.

Also if you do go to places like PirateBay or any torrents for that matter, which aren't even part of the "hidden internet" you should still use Tor or Peer Guardian.
