Lately, I've been doing alot of fractal art in order to avoid feeling depressed over my life, which is not what I'd like it to be.

Take at least a little comfort in knowing that no one's life is what they'd like it to be.

I'm going through changes. Grinding, trying to get this plan of mine together. It is coming together, the process can just be quite a downer.

I dunno, I think I might have some kind of depression or something. A lot times I feel that feeling that you feel behind your eyes when you want to cry. It's not like I'm gonna cry suddenly, just this constant ache behind my eyes of not feeling happy or something.

I want to make things just simple and good in my life, but I have to take part in this bustling city of bullshit and I have a hard time just relating to people around me a lot.

But I feel like it's getting better.

Dear v3d4,

Welcome back.

Since I've seen you last, I have...

-I raised $2500.00 for St. Jude's Children's Hospital during November.

-been getting pwnd by my 3 year old daughter on a daily basis.

-And back to playing the guitar like I otherwise would normally be. Couple of hours over three different stretches today. Technique first, Scales and Chords next, Fun time to close.

I can't cry (unless I'm fucked up) and I know the feeling you're talking about. I get it like an itch in my whole body. I also suffer from depression, and anxiety, and they have made my life especially hard, because there are times when I need to be motivated, and my mood kills it. It gets really hard to stay on projects. Frankly, I'm amazed I finished my book (although, to be fair, I've started probably 6 books over the last 25 years).

I sometimes feel like I've been given a great gift, yet also burdened with an inability to rely on it, due to my shifting mood. Gets me really down, sometimes.

Yeah. There's a thread in the writers forum and everything. It's a spirituality/philosophy book that offers (among other things) a logical proof of the eastern philosophical premise that we are all one.

Dear v3d4,

I am doing well and living in a new city with my Wife. Quite a change, but slowly and surely finding a niche.

Lots of meditation, yoga and places of study. Buddhist, Muslim and Hindu centres abound. As well I found an open Abrahamic study group at the University where people from the Abrahamic traditions sit down and look at scripture together.

There is an Anglican Church down the street from me, about a 3 minute walk, which I've been attending. That makes it since July I've been going to Anglican Mass every week and now in two cities, added to that. I never thought I'd be in a Church too many more times for worship in my life, let alone attending them regularly, enjoying it and connecting with the worship. Life is full of surprises.

Hope you come around and see us again real soon.

Love,
SageTree
