Look everybody, its the first ever "Snowmayne's Daily'

When dealing with bears, its kill or be killed. Rush them dirty rotten mother fuckers don't give them a chance to get the upper hand.

Bears hate humans but are less prone to attack another animal. If you see a bear, get on all 4s and imitate a cute kitty, or a prowling possum. Chances are the bear will befriend you, just be ready for some old fashion bear cawk.

Last but not least, while hiking, travel with food. If a bear threatens you, you want to be able to throw the food down to distract the bear and make a quick get away.

These tips have been provided to you via the Snowmayne Daily.

So it would seem on the 'kill or be killed' spectrum... you really didn't tell us what side you were giving tips for

People who have to deal with bears know that is a load of shit.
The rest likely won't ever see a bear at all.
It's really a non-issue I imagine.

It's just that I've volunteered in parks before and there is a majority of people who aren't smart enough to be around raccoons let alone having misinformation about a bear, that is my only concern.

Someone actually thinking any part of that is true.

Black bears you DO actually have to fight if attacked verses behaviour for a grizzly attack. The food issue is also something I could see people reasoning as true. Food placement overnight is usually the issue with food.

I know you surely intended this for fun, and I don't mean to sound so serious, but the last thing I want is in a burst of adrenaline, someone remembering the first line of this thread So just consider this the public service announcement part of the thread and if you saw people do some of the shit I've seen them do around wild animals maybe you'd understand my concern.
