FUUUUUUUUUU!!!!1

Despite a rather sober, productive day at home I spilled [nasty, old] bong water all over my carpet, vehicle registration and an accident report.

After you do the initial clean up, make a paste with White Vinegar and Baking soda, put it on the spot and let it dry. White Vinegar is a natural deodorizer and the baking soda once it dries will help to wick all the moisture from the carpet.

Clean up anything that is caked up on the carpet with dust pan, and then get a stiff brush to loosen the rest before you vacuum.

Hopefully you didn't already rub the stain in, and you change your bong water out everyday.

Yeah the same part of carpet just stopped smelling from the first time I spilled it about three weeks ago.

Thanks for the advice man.

I always put clean water in before I use it but after I smoke I get paranoid about it sitting on my best so put it away and forget to dump the old water.

Ah, very well then. You shouldn't have any problems, Homey.

That method works extremely well with cat urine, so the aroma from the bong water should easily be dispatched. I know this because last year, shortly before we had to put one of our cats down, the whole house became her litter box.

That's not why we put her down, BTW.

that combo works for old coffee mugs and is actually pretty much all I clean the house with when I need to scrub....

Some real Betty Vila/ Bob Crocker stuff right there.

I purchased 2 gallons of white distilled vinegar. Do you think that is enough?

heh... you should be good for a while

Like I said, baking soda and vinegar is a great safe house hold clean as well, so now you're stocked.
