Boo, a Trainspotting sequel will just fuck up an otherwise untarnished name. Ewan McGregor slammed the notion of a sequel last year and vowed not to even consider the idea, so it should be interesting without the original main character.

I guess it could have potential, imo they'd be better off going on a similar vein as trainspotting (well aware of teh punz) without labelling it as a direct sequel, yet still retain some of the original characters, maybe even a cameo from McGregor.

Trainspotting I liked.

Part of my interest was the fact that it began, continued, and then had an ending.

rather than the all to usual "to be continued" bullshit most movies produced have today.

I don't see a trainspotting franchise in other words.

Like "lost boys - the thirst", staring "frog".............. .LOL

some flicks just keep getting worser and worser with each new edition.

i love trainspotting the movie but gave up on the book after a few chapters and still having to struggle to decipher what they were saying. Figured id just go out and get some dope myself instead. Find out what all the hype was about.
