whats to defend? fox has 10 x the viewers of any other network so undoubtedly the have 10 x the retard viewers of any other network... they also have 10x the smart people, and 10 x the average people, etc etc...
i was thinking of fox news beating the other cable networks as an analogy to the tax debate.... like in the end, the liberal side basically had to do what the conservative side wanted.... sure they threw in unemployment benefits, but thats something they probably would have had to extend anyway.... what actually happened was that the gop style ideas got adopted and called a "compromise" its just like how fox has 5x the viewers of the next station- because in the end, a compromise in our country is when liberals get a tiny amount of what they want but also conceed that most people actually want the other sides policy.... can u imagine if the gop had caved in on a public option or something? it would have been like 'how can u betray our county to socialism" etc etc... whereas when the dems "compromise" on taxes its like "well i guess we better take the most of what we want that we can get because obviously like 80% of people want the tax cuts etc so i guess we just have to agree to them because they will be passed by the majority conservative country we live in anyway...might as well get some unemployment benefits while were at it". thats "compromise" because essentially our country is conservative. |

That's not what they're saying though, they mean a greater proportion of fox viewers are misinformed.

j. you should work for Fox, they have trained you well.
I give you a piece that says Fox viewers are more misinformed than other news outlet viewers. We would have to assume that means that Fox News feeds it's viewers more bullshit than other news outlets. And you spin it to Democrats and socialized medicine are corrupting the world. Nice job... Even Clemente's statement dismissing the study is incorrect bullshit!

keep fighting each other. pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. there is no man behind the curtain. war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength.

cut and pasted .
In America there are no dreams anymore This country is run by interests more powerful than we. At large, we are a powerless constituency of less-than-fortunate, less socially endowed citizens who push for LGBT equality, immigration reform, a tax system that is fair to lower income households. Our hopes and dreams are held captive by a system that is more willing to cast us to the wolves than give our ideas a fair chance in debate. One. One Senator stood up yesterday and called out the egregious state of America, in eight and a half hours we were shown that the representation of liberals, progressives, democratic socialists and democrats in the Senate is limited to one man. One. Against the best advice, they cut a deal on the 2001 Bush tax cuts that were sold to the American public as expired as of this year. The deal was for unemployment insurance benefits for two million people. The Republicans and blue-dog Democrats held us hostage because they feel empowered enough to do so. The DREAM Act came up for a vote in the Senate and it died. A threat of an unconstitutional act, the Filibuster, killed a bill that received more than a majority of votes. They profess that they're for progress, but the last two years has shown me that they're no longer a party for progress. The two parties have become one. We've lost the power to sway our government, I fear the corporations and wealthiest have won. The president has lost my vote. I was willing to give him a chance after Afghanistan was escalated, after Guantanamo continued operations, after the awful health care bill, and after the stimulus failed to produce a National Infrastructure Reinvestment Bank. His chances are used. I unequivocally accept a democratic primary opponent from the left in 2012. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ^ this guy even misses the point. the problem isn't left or right... It's always been , how to move forward.

Lateral movement is 'safe'. No chance of going backwards if all you do is hand the ball back and forth and as long as both sides agree to keep the ball in play it'll only ever go left or right.
Cut the purse strings. Figure out how to crash their limo.

watched "The Corporation" documentary.
Interesting little bit in there about Fox News...or rather Fox Creating it's own News, rather than reporting the truth. Two lead reporters ended up being fired because they would not lie by reporting steroids being used in the dairy industry to produce more milk were/are safe for cows and humans.(they aren't) The bottom line is, Fox won in a court decision that stated, the reporters could not be "whistleblowers" and receive nearly $500,000 in settlements, because Fox news was in no way legally obligated to tell the truth in news reports. That should be of interest to any Fox supporters.

LOL at anyone thinking U of MD was "the best party school". And another lol at the idea that any newscast is terribly more legitimate than another, it's all a ratings game full of sadsack stories anyway.
