Why does YaHooka matter to you?

Why does YaHooka matter to you?

This isn't a mod question or have any special intent, just this simple question. I'm interested why our community works and things along that line. Why people stay connected to this place.

YaHooka's power is only exceeded by it's mystery, but see if you can channel a few thoughts or words labeling the experience of YaHooka.

And nothing is out of bounds here, speak your piece. It's not limited to the below questions, of course, but just a few to get a ball rolling.....

  • Why do you come here?
  • What keeps you coming back?
  • What do you enjoy?
  • What don't you like ?
  • What do you wish could be better?
  • If you could fix/change anything what would it be?

I'll chime in here eventually.

In kind,
SageTree

i come here because i like to see different posters threads n ideas about things even the ones i dont necesarily agree with . yahooka is a pretty good stress reliever for me with all the cool art and music n stuff.

i came here initially as a highschooler, i cant remember exactly how i found the place, but im glad i did. its been cool to converse with everyone and make friends. and to grow up some as well

its pretty ironic, but i kinda dont like seeing how many/much drugs people do..

It's where my "friends" are. I use quotes because, with the exception of two people, I have don't know many of you in the flesh.

While the internet is famous for being a place where people pretend to be other people, Yahooka is the one place where I feel I can be myself.

Why do you come here?

--There is no other message board like it--take 100 or so people who are/or have been into marijuana and you always find something to laugh or cry at.

What keeps you coming back?
-- The people.

·Why do you come here?
Lulz

·What keeps you coming back?
Lulz

·What do you enjoy?
Lulz

·What don't you like?
Trolling

·What do you wish could be better?
More people posting, I suppose.

·If you could fix/change anything what would it be?
No alts or name changes. I can't keep up with the chameleon-like identities of many yahookans.

At first I came here because I used to grow and can't anymore. I missed it. I thought I could help. Little did I know, these guys around here are pros.

I like most of the people here. We have diverse personalities, but share the weed. Pretty cool in my book.

This is why:

Like FG said, " GTGH...Because I have friends here"

Like Mafoo said, "i like to see different posters threads n ideas about things even the ones i dont necesarily agree with"

Like OldMan said, "While the internet is famous for being a place where people pretend to be other people, Yahooka is the one place where I feel I can be myself. "

Like Dr. Nick said, " The people"

Like kitch said, "personalities "

Like Rev said, "No alts or name changes. I can't keep up with the chameleon-like identities of many yahookans."

Like adventure said, " I can blow off steam, kid around, or engage in intellectual banter."

Like osirus said, "for the lulz"

Like aft3 said, "definately the people that keep me coming back"

*I came to YaHooka in '00
*And kept coming back because it was amazing as my first forum experience. Now it's just like family for me.
*I enjoy seeing people's unique outlooks on life, and how they arrange information into meaning.
*I don't like seeing good members leave because they 'can't handle' the treatment
*And wish intentional time spent could be used for good as often as it's used for 'lulz', which have a spectrum of funny to mean.
*More participation outside of FFA, but not to limit the participation in FFA.
