Many of you may be familiar with Johnny Rebel...I'm curious to as how many of you enjoy the music?

From years of personal experience dealing with certain cultures and groups I have come to accept that I am racist. I used to despise racism as a child and teenager. After many instances of being threatened, attacked, and even robbed I have become quite the racist. It took a few years but now I enjoy the friendship of only one black male. He happens to be half black, and he HATES niggers more than almost any person I have ever known. He hates them almost as much as my grandfather, and he was raised in one of the more racist environments of the 20th century...

Anyways while I don't agree with the violent aspect of this music I can certainly appreciate it. Not just because of the obvious comedic value of the music, but because I embrace a certain amount of hate in my life. The hate I feel inside of me is aimed towards the target of most of Johnny Rebels music, so I smile when I listen to his catchy tunes

To call it ignorant doesn't really do it justice. The old guard of racism was ignorant. Your good ole boy southerners who never went outside of their own county or were never exposed to new ideas and had no internet access or books were ignorant. Racism today is inexcusable.
Being racist in this day and age shows a complete lack of desire to delve deeper than the surface of ones surroundings and a complete denial of modern science. You just settled on being racist rather than trying to wrap your head around the sociological conditions that have led to the world we know today. For all intensive purposes you might as well be trying to convince people that the earth is flat and the sun revolves around it.
Also, the fact that you use your self hating half black friend as a justification for your short-sightedness is nauseating. So called "racists" have been trying to make mixed people hate themselves for a very long time. It's sad to see that at least in this case, they have succeeded.
You shouldn't just resign to belittling yourself by following such an ill founded idea. Look around you, it's not hard to find something real to hate.

Also for the record I have no problem with racism for comedic value and I have been robbed by a black person.

I don't think racism is ignorant whatsoever...it is just another way of thinking. I am racist against niggers because they have hurt me or done wrong by me many times in my life. My own experience has lead to how I view the world. It just took me a while to hate niggers. Don't get me wrong, there are many different types of niggers out there. Some of them are white, some of them are black, some yellow, and some brown. I'm sure I am even missing some colors...

It just so happens most niggers I meet are black. I also don't judge someone by the color of their skin before I interact with them. I have met people of every race and religion who I consider wonderful individuals. Unfortunately I have had more negative interactions with black people than any other group.

I agree with aft3rsh0kk. There are a lot of niggers out there regardless of color, and I hate them all equally.

I wonder if we domesticated them and bread only positive traits such as athleticism, intelligence, and peaceful behavior, what would happen?

There has been an experience in Siberia that has been going on for over 50 years where they domesticated foxes. They took only the foxes that showed no fear or aggression to humans and let them breed. Now they have foxes that are happy and act like dogs! The most interesting thing about the experiment is that after enough generations they started to change color like dogs, their tails got shorts, as did their limbs.

I wonder with a good breeding program if they would slowly start to turn white?

I don't find it really that much of an insult to call me stupid or ignorant for my way of thinking. I mean it's your right to say whatever you want to me, I'm just not going to let it upset me too much.

I really don't find it too upsetting to be hated here, after all it's just a forum right?

The foxes thing was a joke between me and a friend at work, and I chose to share it with you. I don't think black people are going to turn white from "breeding them" anymore than I think it would be possible to breed a race. At least not with how people work in this world.

Anyways I'm racist and most of you are not ok with that, which is fine with me. Even if I was worried about you disliking me I have already shown myself to be a less than popular forum member.

just dont be a racist as your number 1 priority and u shud b fine. there are some black people on here so even tho i kinda tend to think racism is pretty funny sometimes (not when its like really mean and actually physically hurting people but more an abstract south park laugh at everyone kinda of way) but i also like a bunch of the people on here some of who i know are black, so its actually weird i used to be more like who cares and lol about it, but actually getting to be friends with some black people and some mixed variety of people like we have on here has actually changed my ways somewhat... at least here where i know that i will be hurting my friends feelings by saying really off color things.

Racism is definitely not my number one priority in life. I don't like being racist, it's just another personality trait that I have. I mean I would much rather think of everyone as an equal and have no racist thoughts ever enter my mind.

I just accept that some things you can't change about yourself. After enough bad things happened to me from one group of people I started to hate them...it's sad really, but just part of life.

I admit this makes me a bad person, and that I should try to not be so full of hate. I just can't change the way I feel. People may appear to change but they never really do, and one of the sad facts of life is I am not that good of a person. I have a lot of hate towards myself and others, and that's just how it's going to stay.

One thing that I am happy about is my ability to discuss my personality flaws. I'm not a good person and have come to accept it, so I no longer have to beat myself up over it constantly.
