Do the forum rules reject the ideals of individualists?

I had an opening statement an argument planned out for this but my train of thought seems to have gone the way of the wine...

So what do you think? Do the moderators in power reject the liberal and individualistic personalities that so many of us hold dear, and support a form of authoritarian control?

If so you can call that fascism. Just look at Germany and Italy, their ideals and system of governing they implemented told individuals how to act, what to say, what to believe, and how to lead their lives.

I personally believe FFA has a misleading title, if you just take a short period of time to check out the rules, you might notice it too.

I think this forum and those behind it stands for a collectivist view. The good of the forum, if you will

If individuals think outside of the accepted bounds of the ideals of yahookas mods, they risk as banning. Well I guess that is not quite true, one is only banned when they openly show dissent and oppose the rules imposed for the forum members.

Personally I think that instead of banning members who openly disagree with the forum leaders we should just sterilize them so they cannot breed further generations of rebel yahookans.

If that does not work we can try and euthanize them. I bet if we put them in camps and starved them for years before terminating their membership they would change their tune!

I'm sure there are other entities to converse about the hatred of races.

To answer the question of whether the forum rules reject the ideals of individualism, I'd have to say NAW... You can be an individual with opinions and a voice without breaking the rules. Nothing in the rules limits individualism. The rules do place limitations but thats more to prevent any violation of law as far as I understand them.

osirus was banned for bucking the system ( a post was edited [not sure of why] and he then reposted what was edited out.)

had he accepted the "ruling" and not tried to make a jousting match out of it he'd still be here.

I'm not agreeing with the ruling or the banning, just stating what my personal experience leads me to believe.

If memory serves me correctly , bannings aren't particularly always the best coarse of action.

No system is perfect, so there will always be disagreements, but I honestly believe that the people we have moderating the forum at the moment are good people, and not looking to swing the dick of authority around just because they can. IMO, the whole "nazi mods" hue and cry is comical and sad because it's getting hurled at friends.

If you act a fool and then cry about a 3 day timeout, you have a problem moderating your consumption of yahooka...If you get banned for longer do as everyone does and make an alt...

Fighting over principles on a privately owned forum is asinine and will lead nowhere...It's someone else's house, we are just the bums that they haven't evicted yet....

I think the mods are great and do a great job. I don't always agree, but I also find they (as a whole) tend to listen when spoken to in a respectful manner. Sorta like real people.

Changing someone's post has seemingly pissed off everyone it has happened to. So why do it? Laziness, superiority, or just fucking because? Doesn't seem like it needs to be done, and that looks a lot like assholery to me. People don't have an issue with modding, they have an issue with people putting words in their mouth/being misrepresented. So why just not fucking do it? Delete the posts. Or delete the contents of the post. /Not sure why it's difficult

as an individualist should you not support the idea of property in some right? This is a privately owned board and as such the rules are what the management says. i'd say there's more liberality regardless of the MoDing than some other places.
