people are already using this as ammo against everything.

political parties are throwing blame at each other.
there are already motions in the work to ban high cap mags because of this.
could be used to blame practices such as smoking weed.
or strange looking people trying unorthodox practices (lucid dreaming)

it's an interesting aspect to the story imo, what can they use this as ammo against?

i don't care too much if they ban high cap mags for pistols, since they stick out the bottom and are a pain anyway. but if they take away high cap rifle mags that'll be some bullshit.

It all comes down to how disillusioned the kid is perceived to be, his literary "idols" were fucking marx and hitler, his kill song was "bodies", it just adds up to a pretty generic and contradictory psychopath...

I'd love to see them ban high capacity mags from assault rifles and think that'll magically protect them from anything. All that does is leave you with less room to just hold more mags. Assault rifles no matter the size ( especially with AR-15 style models) have a huge advantage over regular firearms just because of the quickness and simplicity of the reload capability. They are handy to have, but as far as lethality.

I operated a SAW with 100 round "nut sacks" as we called them instead of the 200 round drums just to make my weapon more maneuverable in an urban environment and it has no effect on anything. You just reload more. It even works just as good when you use the "emergency" magazine insert.
