Toy Nostalgia Thread

Time to remember the good ol days of toys!!! And wishing I kept a bunch to pass on to my future kids one day.

My favorite was what I remember to be called Connex. Perhaps wrong spelling. It was a type of building set with all different types of pieces and parts connected by some type of knuckle thing. Used to build the strongest vehicles we could and play demolition derby until the last wheel fell off

Brio train set and Lincoln Logs keep me entertained in the early days

Alphie. I saw this year in Toys R Us Xmas ad they still make alphie

Creepy Crawlers

Boglins, coolest hand puppet ever made!!

WWF wrestling ring

Playdough, Gak, Slime, Floam all of that good stuff

Lightbright introduced me to the coolness of colored light

VacMan is in a box next to me

Bring back the memories....

I'm like the toy queen, my mom and dad had a bad childhood so they totally spoiled the shyyttt outta me when I was a kid. I had a whole fuckin room just for toys. Including "boy" toys bc my mom is neurotic and wanted me to be 'well rounded'. shit, that didn't work

I played with my pollyville ALL the time( apparently a collectors item now)

It's called Kinex (not connex)

Teddy Rupskin was pretty freaky

Also loved my glow worm

Watched my Dad play a lot of this on Atari, until I got old enough to mess around with it.

And if you have any idea what I'm talking about game wise you'll get a hoot out of this...

Toooo funny

I had a stuffed Stimpy that farted when you pulled his tongue. I loved him to pieces, and I hope my child to enjoy that same simple laughter of cat farts.

My youth.

Never has educational gaming been so badass.

I had a lot of different toys, but the video games/consoles will always be the ones that sit near and dear to my heart. Hell, when I was 4 and couldn't fit my hands around the controller, I got my mom to play games while I watched
