I was discussing this awhile ago with some other yahookans so i thought i would ask all of u what your thoughts were on this phenomenon.

Just encase your not hip to the jive i am laying down "dealer time" is when your connect says i will have your stuff in a hour but what he really means is that i will have your stuff in 4-6 hours.

Weed dealers seem to suffer from this affliction more than other dealers. I used to get PCP from this guy who was as fat as he was lazy and he was at least a good 250lbs. Yet, when he said i will have your wet in 30 mins he would have it ready to go in about 30-45 mins.

weed dealer time is a real pain in the ass....it can really fuck up a schedule man.

So yeah.....does your guy suffer from "dealer time"? Also why exactly are weed dealers the worst?

that would be the most obvious answer of course but i have dealt with benzo, dissociative (u would imagine that they would have no sense of time what so ever) and plenty of opiate (i would think they would probably be the slowest of all) dealers and they are all timely for the most part.

but every weed dealer i have ever known is on their own clock which is always a few hours slow.

really this thread is more of a "lets all complain about how slow weed dealers are" type of deal than actually looking for answers.

if GHM was here he could tell ya all about "dealer time"

Shit, my guy lives in the apartment above me. I just text him when I got money and he meets me either on the back porch or the front.

In the past when I had a dealer that took forever, they wouldn't give me a specific time. They would just be like "Im on the way" or "Ill be there in a little bit". and then I go and find someone else who can give me my weed on time.

I know what JC means tho, I don't miss those days at all. It so awesome to just be able to walk into any dispensary and buy what you want when you want. (yeah, some are even open 24hrs)

I buy weed like once every two months, an ounce of chron.. when I get down to about an 1/8th I call my hookup and set up the next deal, delivery (tell him to take his time on getting it to me, like over the span of a few days even)

works easy for both of us.

the thing is i dont smoke that much these days. I will buy a half oz and then smoke it until its gone *about a week...maybe 2 if i am really busy* but then i may not smoke for 3 months or maybe i will buy one again the next month. Its very random so the plan a head thing doesnt really work to well for me.

I could of course just go ahead and buy some extra even though i may not use it for a few months...but then i have weed thats been sitting around a few months but more importantly i could have used that money to buy something i really wanted like more paint or art tools.

like i said before though. I am not really looking for a way to avoid the dealer time. I am more curious to why weed dealers are always running on their own clock more so than any other dealer.

Let's face it. Until it's legal, and you can buy it anytime you want at a legit store, it's ALWAYS going to be a pain in the ass (at least, an unnecessarily painful pain in the ass) to acquire weed. No matter how liberal the laws, or cops, of an area are, if the activity is not legal, it will be somehow inhibited, it will be SOMEHOW, a pain in the ass.

This is ours, until the law starts respecting an individual's right to own his/her own means of experiencing reality.

the problem with this is, you can generally only find people that are like this who deal with nothing less than an ounce, not that there's anything wrong with that either.

dealers are generally lazy cause they have to deal with retards that can't make up their mind all god damn day.

also they just feel it's not worth their time to deal with people for less than an 8th. that's why when I used to buy off the streets I'd never get anything less than a quarter o just so I know they'll take me somewhat seriously if I ever need large quantities in the future.

if I slang dubs all day to retards you can bet your ass I'd be a lazy fuck too.

you aint dealing with a weed dealer you are dealing with a lazy pothead who happens to make a bit of money cuz he likes to smoke pot for free

Just gotta be friendly. Smoke a bowl and have a drink while you are over. Get to know the guy a little. Dont be his best friend (via pineapple express) but a little comradery can mean you get exactly how much product you want. Most dudes will be reasonable. (at least thats been my exp here in the city)

that said, if u are buying less than a half ounce at a time you arent doing it right.

I pick up a set amount each week, my dealer knows this and always delivers that day normally he will tell me between 6 and 6:30 although from time to time he is late but that's because he works and I understand that so it doesn't bother me.

that's what I'm saying yo. the only people complaining about dealers being late are either sketchy or else they are buying dimes every third day of the week.
