NatGeo:Drugged, High on Marijuana

Did anybody else catch this program. I learned much from it.

Drugged | High on Marijuana | Photos | Growing cannabis - Drugged - National Geographic Channel

Surly, someone else here saw it.

Nope. I don't watch stuff on TV about drugs, especially if it's supposed to be "educational".

All in all, it was very cannabis friendly.

It was interesting that during the course of the entire show, they used first and second person pronouns for cannabis users.

"When we smoke marijuana."

"Our bodies reaction to THC."

Well, thats better than I was expecting. The MSNBC marijuana show, I think its called Hooked: Whatever Drug We're Hilighting Today. It puts on a show of being an impartial reporting of facts, but for those in the know, the bias is pretty obvious. They never address the failings of the War on Drugs. They even bring on DEA agents and Pro-Prohibition senators and reps to say "Look at this huge bust. We're winning. Giving up is not an option, Jesus says so." kinda crap.

It seems like as more and more documentaries come out they are more more and positive (or at least fair). this is how it becomes legal, it first must become normalized. and as we all know, where media goes, the public goes.

Yes.

This documentary (as was the last Nat Geo program) was MORE than fair. Although it didn't end with a veiled cry for legalization, it did present marijuana as something that normal, productive adults do. To the point that it was narrated in the first person plural (everybody does it).

I'll need to catch that, if I still can. It's so rare to see unbiased TV.

TV is always biased.

wouldn't have viewers if it weren't so inclined.

first came tv.

then came entertainment.

viewers flocked to it later, on command.
