I'm actually pretty interested in the resources which a forum such as this requires. Kompressor, I wonder if you would by chance divulge any of that information in more detail?
I ask because I plan on starting a few entertainment websites myself (though not similar to yahooka) but I'm looking into maybe trying to get a few communities going.

Well, the specific hardware specs are with testclear. I see myself more like one of the glorified superintendents to TC's landlord, but I can tell you a few things.
Yahooka in its current entirety is only about 3.7 gigs. After all, it's mostly just text with a smattering of graphics here and there, and a lot of pics are hotlinked from other websites. It's spread on a RAID 5 array, which has good performance, good fault tolerance, and storage efficiency compared to other RAID setups. Obviously it's on a server comp due to the RAID setup. Testclear has said that he will be moving Yahooka into a real data center, which is a server farm built to handle the load of the general public for multiple websites. Testclear is and has been a man of his word, even if it takes him an eon to fulfill it.
