Ever met anyone famous?
So I'm just at work the other day doin my thing as usual, on the phone talking with a customer. I over hear a few customers acting a little eccentric so I turn around and there is Cody Lundin from Dual Survival(Discovery). Wow! It was definitely a shock at first because I've watched many of the Shows and it's my 2nd fav survival show behind M-Vs-W. So I got to help him out with some scanning and he said he'd be in again for some more stuff in the future. It was pretty neat, he even came in with the trademark bare feet. (yeah, no shirt no shoes.. unless you're Cody lundin)
So I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever met anyone famous/semi famous I've never met an A lister so to speak but probably some B and C some others you may or may not know: The Bushwackers (old school WWF tagteam and longtime fan favorites) Jake the Snake Roberts (at same event I met the Bushwackers) Saint Dog - OG member of Kottonmouth Kings and now Part of DGAF and UScircleA - met him at a local bar, which was much cooler than at a show because I got to chat with him for a little bit. The Dirtball - Solo Rapper and recent addition to KMK. (met him only briefly after a concert) so what about you?

Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter is on my course at uni.
Ive also managed to meet some pretty well known Cinematographers, like Anthony Dod Mantle (who shot Slumdog Millionaire), but theyre not so famous.

There are pictures on my facebook of me and my girlfriend smoking with Doug Benson.
We went and saw him on 4/20 in 2009. Great show. After the show there was a bigass smoke session/photo-op on the rooftops of San Francisco. Good times, good times...

OMGG SO JEALOUS
I've not met anyone that famous. Talked briefly to and shook the hand of the bassist from Godsmack? Also had coffee in a Tim Hortons with Ron MacLean (imo the better half of hockey night in canada). Also talked with Sook yin lee once. I was really really really hoping to run into Shirley Manson of Garbage while in edinburgh and have a whirlwind romance with her buuut I think she actually lives in the states. If there was a famous Hollywood celebrity I'd want to meet it would be Sigourney Weaver. I mean I'd probably just blabber or say nothing at all but I'd love to meet her since she's the hottest woman ever. I dunno I like women with strong jaws and a sense of humour.

Jimmy Carter at a political picnic (back when he was Governor of Georgia) when I was a kid.
President Bush Sr. when he visited the DMZ in Korea (the day after he vomited in the Japanese ambassador's lap). Tommy Chong at a book signing

I didn't meet him but I brushed arms/walked next to ozzy osbourne at the catholic church in new york city.
that's prolly the most famous person I've ever seen, can't really think of anyone else. I do think on the reg about how if I saw someone famous I probably wouldn't recognize them. I don't pay attention to celebrities so I'm pretty sure 95% of famous people I could walk past and never know who they are. |

I've met several band members, mostly from deathcore acts and the like. I met Chuck Palahniuk at a local bookstore but didn't really converse that much. Just "Hey man, I love your work. Sign my copy of Invisible Monsters?"

Couldn't think of anything else to say lol.
That man is one of my favorite authors, and he wrote my absolute favorite book. I was understandably nervous.

No SAJ, you're actually gonna get crucified for this one. Getting your book signed? Fucking faggot.
Nah I jest. Pointlessly. I mean it's not even a good jest but I'm gonna leave it in there cuz I already wrote it. On to the real thought. Um.. Well I wrote something but then deleted it because it had become rambly. Instead I will say that scatter, jay and silent bob, and bruce willis are the reasons I think Jersey is the best place in the states.
