yeah shit was bad here too..at one time there was 200,000 people without power in the greater dayton area. lots and lots of downed trees. i didnt go to work today because their power is out.

chicago got fucked up tho. i was watching the weather channel all last night untill the cable went out. we didnt lose power tho, just the cable.

we are having some pretty heavy snow right now, but last night it was really just ice/freezing rain and winds that did most of the damage, but it has been consistently snowing heavily here for at least the past 5 hours.

winds are still high.

The storm of 1998 was pretty wicked too if you lived in Southern Ontario up to Quebec. I'm happy we're getting lots of snow, good snowboarding, gotta love the pow.

This got passed along to me in several ways yesterday and I posted this in 'Random' as well....

As a person who has lived in Central BC for the last couple of winters I really had a good laugh at "SNOWmageddon" !!!!!! LAAAAME!!!!

We got some snow, no doubt.... but comparing it to the end of the world.... I don't know if it was THAT bad !!!!

Well, we don't have any snow here in Oregon. But I definitely stayed up all night on a pile of white powder! back where I used to live in Tx, they got negative temperatures and sustained winds at 30 mph. Gusting at over 50. Fuck. That. Shit.
