Desperate! (basic physics help)

can someone show me how to solve these? my professor is not all that helpful and im struggling badly.

any help is really appreciated, i havent done much physics in my life

thanks for your non help. i was referring to the GIANT screen shots i uploaded der



i know its newtons laws, i can do these easily on flat surfaces, i dont know how to correct for the angle/ the angle on the normal force/ angle on the weight of the body

ok i got the second one its 60 degrees, thank you yahoo answers im gonna fail this classs


ok and i got the other one too. i did accel of gravity times sine of the incline times the mass.

thanks for not just giving me the answer htam i actually understand what i was fucking up now

Had I stumbled upon this earlier I would have helped.

1. 3*3800* Tan(18) = 1234.69

[Edit: Oops meant Cos(18) = 10842.04]

2. .5 = Cos(60)

just general bio. i had hopes of going into research of some sort, but im not sure i can handle grad school at this point so we will see what happens.

alot of science is overcoming the WTF reflex and letting your mind relax so that it can think correctly, the symbols dont really add to the complexity of the material, if anything they make the work easier

You can do grad school Mafoo, I have faith. It's just about really getting into the learning, instead of it just being some passive thing you do four days a week, or whatever.
