pray for our iranian brothers ladies and gentleman.....
sure, they aint got no pyramids. but a free iran sure would be somethin.
maybe they could start getting some f15s from us instead of having to use their pre 1979 f4s all the time. |

pretty easy to get a foothold on the area when youve got the worlds largest and most badass army at your back

sadly for you thats just absurd, iy outfits f35s and f16s with custom made upgraded equipment that rivals the planes they import.
they also make the best uavs in the world. they also invented microsoft kinect and sold it to microsoft they also make some of the best satelites in the world they also have the best , nearly fully functional, missle shield in the world. and as iran well knows, they make the best computer viruses and have one of the best intelligence services in the world. ...i could go on . but this thread is about how Iran should cast off its chains along with Egypt ! GO Iran Go. WE ARE ALL MOUSAVI!!!

![]() ![]() ![]() also, pretty funny to hear iranian propoganda about the protests http://www.presstv.ir/detail/165306.html suddenly ahmadinjad isnt so smug as he was 2 days ago praising egypt for slaying "the pharaoh" ... lets hope the ayatollah is next.

The Iranian thing is pretty interesting given all the rhetoric the government was spouting about how great the Egyptian people were for getting rid of a western puppet. Propaganda Fail.

its pretty funny that you call me ignorant all the time but say things like that.
first of all, iranians are not arabs dingleberry, they're persian, a totally different ethnic demographic second, 'the jews' dont hate 'the arabs' they hate nutty demagogues hiding behind religious theocracys that call for them to be wiped from the earth. third, from an american, or western point of view, this would be a great thing to happen now, because it would be the perfect counterweight to egypt's revolution, and it would actually give a large number of people the hope that the entire middle east could become free and not be totally fucked up by religious wars in the process.... its like the one glimmer of hope for this situation to actually come out amazingly well.

I expect to see this sort of thing going on for awhile, and when it's all done, all the fears we have here in the US about the oil getting cut off will have been unfounded. No matter who rules, in any country in the Mid East, no one is turning off the money faucet.
I just hope, in this case, nothing too atrocious happens between the Iranian people and Uncle Ahmadinejad. Any excessive pain he causes will only add fuel to the revolutionary fire, but I would still like to see this thing come off with as little bloodshed and suffering as possible. ![]() The Rev |

i think this could serve as a great example of what happens when you let countries establish democracy for themselves.
seems like it'll be a lot better than the ones where we've been trying to do it for them...

its funny the same news outlets that were all for spreading democracy one bomb at a time are scared shitless of democracies rising up on their own.
you see we've never really been for world democracy, we just want the powers that be to owe us something. all nice and safe under our thumb, who cares how they treat the people under theirs.

how come we arent hearing anything more about this?
like , we know why, even tho ahmadinejad sat there and arrogantly laughed about the egyptian revolution, - we see that the only reason it could even happen was because of how relatively free egypt was- sure a few reporters got beat up, but we saw nearly continuous , ubiquitous coverage of the egypt protests from start to finish - contrast that with iran, a virtual soviet police state like north korea, where scientists are sequestered in underground bunkers- where buses of ready-made 'anti protestor- protestors' can be summoned up, literally on demand. how is it that the green revolution just went away? it was a huge powerful force led by a huge vast number of iranians from all walks of life from intellectuals to street people, from rich to poor, and yet now its just gone, and the guy who robbed the election is still in power and anyone who tries to talk about it is dissapeared.... the ONLY reason ahmadinejad, and probably khomeni, are still in power is because of how just draconianly, medievally repressive they are... its only fear of torture and execution that can just make the entire green revolution dissapear... and its only a 1984 style police state that can erase any mention and memory of that event in the minds of its people to the point where the parliament chants for death to the people who are trying to free iran from shackles. down the memory hole all the mousavi supporters go. and the dirt they try to throw at the iranian sun will fall back in their faces
