I overheard the saddest thing ever today..

Ok, not the saddest, but it was pretty sad.

I was at the water fountain getting a drink and I heard this yelling coming from this room. I thought it was a TV show or something it was so emotional.

I listened closer and I heard what sounded like this kid talking to his parents on the phone. It was something like this..."I don't even want to be here anymore. Nothing makes anyone here happy, except getting wasted on the weekends when it makes people feel like there's a point to their life." "blah, blah, blah."

It really got me thinking how people's views can really be distorted. Since I got here I've found nothing but awesome people.

It really saddens me that some people can feel this way. I'm not sure what happened to him to make him feel this way, but I feel responsible to help and show him that shit really isn't that bad.

Moral of the story: surround yourself by people you love.

I've said whats up to him in the hallway before. He actually seems really normal and really chill. But then again no one is what they seem like.

she wasn't having a temper tantrum, just speaking with sadness. Not crying or anything. Way too grown up at her age for her own good I think.
