For all I know this person left office because they didn't want to be a hypocrite, or the job drove them to drink.... (no pun intended)

I forsee a run for Office....she's primed herself for a career in politics.

But, to be fair the original founder of MADD, Candy Lightner, left the organization because she no longer believed it was moving forward with it's original objective.

So I'd assume she had a child that died at the hands of a drunk driver?

I hardly see the humour in it..I wouldn't say she is hypocritical by any means...when people are drunk they certainly aren't in their right mind. If she went out and tried to be the "President" of MADD now..I could see calling her a hypocrite, but calling her one now makes no sense at all.

Hopefully she gets her shit together and gets help.

Being a former head of a MADD chapter and being booked for drunk driving is as hypocritical as it gets... I don't really see a valued argument otherwise.

It said former, like how former was she...did she just quit the day befor and drive the next day?

Hypocritical would be if she was still part of the group, is she still part of MADD?

Is she someone who "used" to be President of MADD and made a really bad mistake?...like really bad.

Someone who blows that high is not thinking in their right mind, therefor not making the right decisions, y'feel me?

I'm not saying it was anything that should be overlooked or go unpunished, but i certainly wouldn't say it's funny, or call them a hypocrite if they are no longer.."preaching" the word of MADD...now if she had just come from a MADD fundraiser or something that'd be a different story.
