I think we're doing alright in the US. Not the best there could be but certainly a lot better than a lot of places in this world.
I'm just happy I don't gotta worry about mongol hordes.

![]() Sorry man, but I'm not going to be the first person to burn myself to death with a can of gasoline to start a protest. I might join in if others start to protest, but I'm not going to take my guns to the street and start killing people just yet. Yes, without a doubt. I am at least 10x more stupid than you. |

I have just as much freedom if not more than how much freedom I had the day I was born.

of this I'm certain. those of privilage conveniently forget about the responsibility that goes with it. ie: imagine the "freedom" you would have if you were Bill Gates.

i committed a crime, i accept that. what i don't accept is people having their freedoms taken away little by little and being lied to. your eyes are obviously closed and you do zero research on whats really going on in the world since at the time you are living comfortable, typically like most Americans at this stage in history. pls go

If I ran the world, all laws would be based on a single premise: that each person's will is their own property.
And, yes, that means weed would be legal. ![]() The Rev |

you will fucking accept that people are having their freedom taken away and you will fucking like it. what the fuck are you doing about it to stop people from getting their freedom taken away "little by little?" you're paying the court system their fees because you want your freedom back so you can be like the rest of us. you sit in a gym lifting weights for 90-120 minutes a day. you aren't doing jack fucking shit about those peoples freedom getting taken away just like myself. seriously, what the fuck are you doing about it that separates you from the rest of "blind" americans? we are blind because we like our lives the way it is. so in a sense we are turning a blind eye for what? freedom? money? happiness? protection? we, and when I say, we, I mean me and all the other americans turning a blind eye. because we are fat and happy. just they way "they" want us to be. now excuse me, I have to get back to my chemistry homework so I can fall into the system just like the rest of the blind americans chizzling away at rocks for their paychecks. |

I don't think anyone should rule the world...
Just a collective superconsciousness.. .

Iceland
Well the system of conservation/allocation, that Iceland had before American interests destroyed it would work for me. They were a perfect little society (they had nearly end of history status) until they allowed Alcoa to mine aluminum ore and set up smelting plants there. (Using Iceland's nearly free geothermal energy). Then came the financiers/investment firms, bank expansion, debt for everyone. In less than 3 years, Iceland went from annual 13 billion GDP, to negative 100 billion DEBT, thanks in whole to American Greed. From near 0% unemployment to 30% unemployment. Give me old Iceland any day. ![]() "end of history" status...? The End of History. Francis Fukuyama (1992) Writing in the twentieth century, Hegel’s great interpreter, Alexandre Kojève, asserted intransigently that history had ended because what he called the “universal and homogeneous state” – what we can understand as liberal democracy – definitely solved the question of recognition by replacing the relationship of lordship and bondage with universal and equal recognition. What man had been seeking throughout the course of history – what had driven the prior “stages of history” – was recognition. In the modern world, he finally found it, and was “completely satisfied.” This claim was made seriously by Kojève, and it deserves to be taken seriously by us. For it is possible to understand the problem of politics over the millennia of human history as the effort to solve the problem of recognition. Recognition is the central problem of politics because it is the origin of tyranny, imperialism, and the desire to dominate. But while it has a dark side, it cannot simply be abolished from political life, because it is simultaneously the psychological ground for political virtues like courage, public-spiritedness, and justice. All political communities must make use of the desire for recognition, while at the same time protecting themselves from its destructive effects. If contemporary constitutional government has indeed found a formula whereby all are recognised in a way that nonetheless avoids the emergence of tyranny, then it would indeed have a special claim to stability and longevity among the regimes that have emerged on earth. one needs to interperate this for themselves.
