Unhappy Wheeee!!! Insatiable pain!!!

So, I was just sitting at my computer... when this horrible pain hit my back... worst pain I've ever gotten down there... see, in my car accident, my backbone somehow got knocked out of place... so I'm always slouching, and it hurts like a SONUVA BITCH to sit up strait.

Stupid Codeine does fuck-all...

I hope you've taken measures to strengthen those muscles, like physio, and have had proper spinal alignment.

How long ago was the accident?

Codeine gives me a headache which seems wrong for a pain killer.

The accident was back in 1991... when I was 8... I was riding my bike and the car clipped the front wheel of my bike, sending me a good 30 meters, and I landed on my head, went into a three month coma... oh happy days...

Oh ok. Well I can't pretend like I know what is right here, but if you aren't comfortable I hope you get some relief from something soon enough.

How do you feel about inversion tables, help strengthen muscles you don't usually use to help aid the ones you do.

You don't have to go completely inverted.

I need to get one of these things, I use my friends inversion boots when I can but you can't really use those alone.

Serious man, physical therapy is the way to go, chiropractic is right up there with reflexology as real medicine.

In other words, it isn't.

Ya man, I had to see a chiropractor for about 2 years when I was young (I think around 9 or 11), and I remember hating it.

But, I'd get right on that man, you should get on some sort therapy thing to get that fixed.

I hate to be the one to say this, but I think the word you're looking for is "excruciating". Insatiable means that your pain cannot be satisfied.

While the chiro isn't THE answer... I think being adjusted and THEN doing physio work is a good combo. It's worked for me in the past.

My girlfriend went to a chiropractor after being in a car accident two years ago...she was suffering from severe headaches for 2 years...she had a bad case of whiplash and after going to a "good chiropractor" mind you..a caring couple with a reputable practice, she was somewhat cured after suffering for 2 years. I wouldn't say it's for everyone, and that all of them are legit, but it's worth a try to "shop" around y'know...if you can.

Hope you feel better as soon as possible.

I wonder if magic mushrooms work as well for other mysterious persistent pain as well as they work for cluster headaches? Either way, its worth a shot and even if its a failure, tripping is usually fun and always enlightening.
