I've grown LOTS of ornamental grasses from tissue culture at the greenhouse I used to work at. Never had any healthy problems with them and, if anything, they seemed more sturdy, stalking and well than their brotheren and sistereren starting by division in soil.

I am not sure what micro cloning is? The greenhouse was all starter plants from seed and divisions 99% of the time. The cultures were to try something new. I don't think Andrew grows that way anymore, it is a REAL hassle to keep moist, especially as spring emerges and temps start to climb.

That would be cool, and a pain, but cool.
Tissue culture needs to be uber sterile and work must be done over a flame where micro cloning is less so and no flame
