NFL is too big now a days for there not to actually be a season. This will definitely be resolved before Fall.

And don't forget, most of these players worked their asses off their entire childhoods to get where they are today. That's like 15-18 years of free work and a spent childhood that they've invested. So to some degree i think they do deserve a high salary, but to be bitch about not getting an extra 2 on 23 mil is pretty sad.

I actually think pro-sport unions are some of the most legitimate unions in existence. The players cannot be replaced (by equal talent), so rather than drawing their power from bullshit laws (such as a bus-driver strike), they are exercising a legitimate power/freedom earned by hard work.

You know, like how proper capitalism is supposed to work.

I can tell you that after all of this bullshit I have never in my life not given a fuck about professional sports as I have at this moment.

And that, to me, is heart breaking. football sucks. baseball sucks. basketball has sucked. nascar even sucks now. maybe I'm just gonna start watching hockey. The olympics were exciting as hell but to be honest I don't give a fuck about the NHL.

usually I'm looking forward to the new season like a little kid waiting for christmas to arrive.

with all the greed, cheating, bad refereeing, I am losing interest.

And what happens? A judge orders lockout over. How stupid easy. Like the NFL isn't going to have a season in this day and age.

I still think they should play 18 games, football season is criminally short.

And I dunno who we're taking, I don't have much faith in Tebow Or Orton but don't think we need a new QB. Orton should def start unless Tebow learns to throw before fall.

Moreno was pretty good the second half of last year but he's inconsistent so a new Back wouldn't hurt, but they're prolly gonna go defensive and get Marcell Dareus or something.
