Thanks, Sage.
To be fair, I (we, in the band at the time) went on a road dog recon for egg cartons one day, found enough to actually cover the room we were using, and was much disappoint. It's time we could of used for so many other useful or fun things. What can be done to mitigate the sound vibrations, is placing some rubber mats underneath the speakers. Like old mouse pads, black side up for the speaker to sit on. It will only help with the vibration transfer, though, not the sound volume. Earplugs FTW. I use them and use my phone set to Vibe to wake me up. I slip it underneath the pillow, works every time. You should be able to find a earplugs by the jar at Pharmacies or Groceries. I picked up a bottle of 'Super 31' earplugs, 40 pair, $2.99 USD. They work great. Roommates. Easy to find, tough to live with. But sometimes it's a complete pissa when everything comes together, and the moment becomes a genuine 'Remember that time' memory forever. |
