My perspective on aging is this: When you get older, who you are improves, but what you are goes down the shitter.

When I was a kid, I jerked it like 3 times a day. Now, 3 times a month is closer to normal. When I was a kid, I could stay up all night, then still go and do fun shit the next day. Now, I hit the grocery store, the bank and post office all the same afternoon and I'm ready for a nap.

However, my perspective is WAY less fucked up. I'm not ruled by hormones and unresolved problems, trying to find what I need from women who look unbelievable but act kinda unbelievable as well. Being older is better, in the net of it, but it still sucks ballsac sometimes, especially when you realize that many of those dreams of youth (millionaire by age 30, famous, etc.) are never going to happen. That's the hard part. Settling up with the fact that you are never going to live up to all that "you can be whatever you want and do anything you want if you try hard enough" hype you're filled with as a child.

Turns out, you're stuck with your good old ordinary humanity for life.

Seeing where new gray hairs sprout up has been an utter joy!

29 and loving it though. Being young is fun, but the learning in the last 10 years has been priceless. Since I was 25 until now, I feel, has been the best years of my life so far.
