Yeah the world is far from perfect, but having an ever growing civilization that has reached its limit on the planet... and continues to rapidly grow... is not an easy accomplishment.
We have just soooo recently gained the knowledge that allows you to truly see the nirvana of how the world COULD be. Change takes time, Evolutionary in the way things are done type change even more so. There are 7 billion individuals on this planet, with their own view of the world...Cant expect it to flow smoothly in a different direction right away. We have just now gained the secret. Be patient, but also do what you can to keep it going the good direction. Our planets main problem is laziness and peoples general unwillingness to change. The light hasnt been shone to the majority yet. SHOW THEM.!!! anyway all in all, Yes i am very excited to live at this time in history. Knowledge and information is growing faster then ever before. For the first time in history we are actually solving things and not just making them up. Think of the advancements made in just the last couple decades... No other time in history has ever been this "exciting" in my opinion.

Technological singularity - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Most likely withing our lifetimes, we will have created computers that can equal that of a human brain. At that moment there is nothing to say it cannot be considered an equal. It can process anything the same way you could, but better.. We are also alive during the space age! for the first time in the history of the planet, not just humans, we have gotten off of it! Life will drastically change at this point at the very least, And depending on how we get there may determine that. It may turn out horrible given our current general mindset. Who knows though. Maybe we are meant to destroy ourselves. Either way our generation will be the beginning of a very drastic change on the planet.

dont merge my posts lol
also We are on a very materialistic path right now. Yet we have also realized that money does not bring happiness or peace either. The world is still on this path that materials mean everything. One will be happy and able to deal with material wants if he embraces love and compassion for life. If a man is content mentally, the physical world barely matters. Most suffering is caused by outside influence. We cannot fix these outside influences physically at this time. You can curb outside influences Internally though. If the change isnt made from a physical based, materialistic world into a mentally based one.. we are doomed. Either way shit is GOIN DOWN in our lifetimes... You are at the top of the first drop of a roller coaster. get ready.

1000 years from now
pffffft.....wtf is earth? It will take at max 3-5 generations before humanity forgets this planet when "we" are forced to leave/abandon it... As for humanity we will build enough machines to become a twisted mix of the people in idiocracy/wall-e...Content in being shuttled through life by the machines we built generations ago to aid us in enhancing them... Proud is a relative term...But I can say I am proud to not be half as delusional as that nutter J wonder...
