I've had a stomach virus and the flu this season, my sympathies to you. My gut just got back right.

Well, I'm still pretty tired. I can't do much without getting wiped out. Still, it's nice to be farting again. Hopefully, I can start eating real food again soon.

Also (and this is an odd side effect) but you know how I thought it might have been the horchata from the mexican place? Well, my son had some and he was fine, plus this went on longer than food poisoning, so I know it's not that. However, I can't even think about horchata without feeling like I want to ralph. In fact, just writing this is making me a little queasy.

If it's that easy to get programmed, imagine what TV is doing to us.

Thanks, v3d4.

My wife works in a convalescent home, actually, and there's been a virus going around there that's been a big enough problem to close the place to new admits. According to her, my symptoms were pretty close to what the old timers were going through, so it stands to reason that's what I got. It sucks to think how someone with 30 years on me or more would react to this; it kicked my ass.

My wife now has a light case of the same thing (no barfing, thank goodness), so she's going to be staying home tomorrow. It's gotten everyone in the family but my son, who has been out of the house this whole time hanging out with his friends. I think I'm going to go cough on his pillow.
