Anyone else into currency trading/gambling business?
Well I am, I sort of got rid of my gambling (pokies, casino, betti ng) addiction by getting into currencies and indices market and to be honest it is nothing else but gambling.
There's like literally thousands of websites where you can sign up and start trading currencies and commodities and indices almost like a proper wallstreet weirdo. Derivatives and leverages are where the whole story becomes attractive to a poor "couple of hundred bucks" sort of trader like me. Pretty complicated but basically simple if you know how to limit your losses. You think the USD is gonna go up against the Euro so you put your $100 on the BUY option and hope that it does go up. Depending on the leverage you choose, you can double your money in a few minutes just because the USD went up quarter of a cent against the Euro, at the same time you can lose your hungie if it goes the other way. Pretty simple. You can also speculate on oil, various metals and other commodity prices, major stock exchange indexes...same rules apply. Good luck. eToro is pretty popular but I'm using Forex atm. Not doing bad since the Japan earthquake and all the mideast turmoil, so predictable... |

You should buy gold slver as a way to secure your liquidity.
I've got gold, I'm holding it forever. When the system comes a crashing down, I'll take my saw and cut it into pieces I need. /tin foil hat.

^some retirement funds felt the same way about the stock market. after the first housing crash (the "savings & load fiasco) now regret not pulling their money back then.
I know several people on the fringe of retirement who have lost at least half their savings/investment, and now must consider returning to work/welfare as social "security" was never meant to provide sufficient money to survive on. this is good time to sell. when it bottoms again in 5 years or so, you can repurchase.

gold and guns (especially with ammo)
the two things that will retain the most value when the government bubble bursts

Stulic..... I spent over a year studying and practicing on becoming a day trader. My current job gives me decent time off so I thought I'd put it to use.
Every book I have read has always mentioned "(Insert trading method here) is not a form of gambling" I have like 20 books on day trading, forex trading, options trading... everything and they all mention this. I could type forever on this... if you have only small capital to start with (under 15k-20k) then you need to start small. Penny stocks are a good place to start. In FOREX trading you need to have a lot of money or you can leverage it... but if you lose on that be prepared to pay. The studying that goes into it every morning is very intensive. If you want more info or book recommendations PM me and I'll be glad to help you out or point you in the right direction.
