A friend at NYU formed a rap group called Gorilla Warfare Tactics, thought I'd share it and see what you think.

I'm a little confused at what your trying to say. Doesn't really sound like either of those to me. Maybe I'm just missing something.

professionals tend towards creating the whole song/music from scratch.(as they usually have musical talent/knowledge.)

anything else is just really a cover band/performer.

I definitely agree, but I don't think these guys are untalented. This is one sampling of a temptations song that was taken from about 3 seconds of the track and manipulated to make this back-beat. The other songs on their EP are a bit more original, but a little less catchy. I think this guy has a lot of talent and potential, but it's not quite built up yet.
