Yahooka is a place to revel in your boredom, not to escape it. For that, you need actualy human contact. If you're interested in Art, for example, take a class (or teach one). Then, you will meet like minded people who you can get together with on weekends and such.

I've also known a few people who found that places like Church or AA were great social resources, and the nice thing is, you don't have to worry if they're going to judge you about your religion or whatever.

Any reason people have to get together (besides work and shopping, IMO) seems to generate relationships.

And then there's always eHarmony, Match.com, etc. If I were single, I would never go to bars or whatever. I'd be all over the dating sites. Just go into it with an open mind, like, "I wonder what kind of good story is going to come out of my date tonight with X."

damn, thats a pretty vivid transition. i really like the drawings themselves, and the becoming a new person theme is really cool. i used to love going to art classes, sometimes words aren't nearly as effective in externalizing whats bouncing around in your head (although i dont have the art talent you do, or really any for that matter...but its still nice)

did the old art thread get deleted?
