Recommend a movie to me

I'm having a girl over this weekend and we're gonna have a little movie night together.

This girl I haven't spent a lot of time with yet, things are still pretty new, but we wanna watch a more serious, dramatic, psychologically entrenching sort of movie (the sort of stuff that hooks you like requiem for a dream, the fisher king, a scanner darkly, etc). Really, just a plain old GOOD movie that doesn't just fall into the usual genre typecast.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Not much is coming to me at the moment.

The Machinist. Nothing gets girls ready for some after movie loving like a film about losing ones grip on reality and murder.

Seriously, if I wanted to I could just throw the next gay guy I come across right up against a wall and give him an anal assault and he wouldn't complain one bit.

Y'know, I've been meaning to watch the machinist for some time now. I think it might be that one.

I would say a romantic comedy with some good sex in it, if you're trying to butter your breadstick. However, if you've already been together awhile, then just try to pick something she will really like that you wouldn't mind watching. Bitches love it when you're considerate and shit.

Yeah maybe I should point out this is gonna be late little movie night in bed. Also it's not happening today grieves.
Now I'm not saying the movie is all I'm interested in, but I really do want to enjoy a movie with this chick.

And fyi, I certainly don't need to rely on a movie to get laid.

Should have read your post more closely. How about "1984" with John Hurt. It's a great adaptation of the book, and a cinematically tight film with lots of grim scenery and all that "dark side of socialism" thing that Orwell was trying to convey (being an ardent socialist himself, he saw how it could go wrong).

I thought the movie was kind of bad?

IMDB rates it a 7. Dosn't that mean "meh"?

They should do an adoptation of Animal Farm. I'd watch that.
